Swanson is accused of entering and robbing the CVS store on Harborview Road on November 13 and another on November 18 on Maybank Highway. In both instances, he told the pharmacist he had a gun although a weapon was never shown.
The robberies occurred about a week after Swanson, who was working at a restaurant, lost his job for being late.

Oxycontin is a time release form of Oxycodone, a prescription opioid used for the relief of moderate to high pain and is also known as “Hillbilly Heroin” and “Kicker”. According to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, 10mg of Oxycodone taken orally is equivalent to 10mg of injected morphine. Abuse of this legal narcotic has increased dramatically since its introduction in 1996 and has spread throughout the United States.
