This year’s annual Independence Day fireworks display will be on Saturday, July 3, at the Folly Beach County Park and will begin around 9 p.m.
Patriotic Music
The Music Ministry of Folly Beach will present “This is My Country” on Sunday, July 4, at 11:00 a.m. at the Folly Beach Baptist Church.
Choirs from the three island churches will blend voices in songs that celebrate America. The program will be narrated by Mayor Tim Goodwin. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information call 588-9414.
After Fourth Beach Blitz
Folly Beach Management Patrol strongly encourages all residents and visitors to participate in the first annual July 5 Afterfourth Beach Blitz. To commemorate last year’s Independence Day trash disaster, please choose your favorite area and fearlessly storm the beach with garbage bags. We can make a significant difference by working together, so let’s all join forces on the Fifth of July and get involved with the pollution solution!
