NYE Flip Flop Drop & Fireworks
December 31
The New Year’s Eve Fireworks display will fill the air at a new time – 7 p.m., allowing children to catch the show before bedtime. Drop a ball on New Year’s Eve? Not on Folly. Gather on Center Street to watch the giant pair of glittery flip-flops descend along the front of the Tides hotel to mark the stroke of midnight.
Bill Murray Polar Bear Plunge & Look-a-Like Contest
January 1, 2024 • Look-A-Like Contest at 12:30pm • Plunge at 1:30pm.
Attendees start the New Year with a plunge into the (not so) cold Atlantic while dressed as their favorite Bill character. Followed by a little hair-of-the-dog.
