Mermaids & Mateys Event

The inaugural Mermaids & Mateys Event, sponsored by Lunazul Tequila and Lunar Light Botanicals, is officially set for Friday, September 23rd – Saturday, September 24th. Gather the hearties and put on your best seashells and peg legs for an exciting weekend full of pirate and mermaid family fun.
Under the Sea Dance
Friday, September 23rd | 7 – 9:30pm
The Loft at St. James Gate
*The Loft will open to the public at 9:30 but event-goers are welcome to stay!
Saturday, September 24th
Breakfast with Mermaids 9 – 10am
Rita’s Seaside Grille
Salty Saturday – Center Street Closure Event
Saturday, September 24th | 10am – 4pm
Center Street
*Center Street will close to traffic at 7am on Saturday, September 24th and reopen at 6pm, but will be open to the public from 10am – 4pm.
The street will be lined with delicious food from Folly’s restaurants plus dozens of arts and craft vendors and live bands across several stages. A huge kids area will feature games and fun for the kiddos.
We are proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association – South Carolina Chapter again as we work to “Paint Folly Purple” in our best under-the-sea wear and raise money for this very special local charity!
*No Animals, Coolers, Bikes, Skateboards, Scooters, or Backpacks (except diaper bags). No Outside Beverages. Reusable cups are permitted but must be empty upon entering and exiting the event.
