The annual Sea & Sand Festival, Folly’s longest-running festival brought to you by the Folly Association of Business, returns to Folly Beach with a weekend full of family-friendly events. The Sea & Sand weekend will return for its 33rd year on February 22nd and 23rd! It will include an artisan street closure event and some healthy competition in the sand on Sunday.
Center Street will be closed on “Salty Saturday” and taken over by Folly vendors, restaurants, and bars. The street closure event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring local bands, 80+ Folly art, craft, and fashion vendors, and a robust kid area. Then, on Sunday, don’t miss our FREE Sand Sculpture Competition behind the Tides Hotel starting at 9 am.
The streets will close at 7 am, and reopen at 5:30pm, but they are open to the public between 10am and 4pm. Admission is $10 in advance [and $15 at the door], but it is free for Folly residents (must show a valid driver’s license), and kids 12 and under are free.
